There are always questions when visiting a new church. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Christ Reformed Church. Below is a little information about what to expect when visiting with us. If you are visiting from out of town, we will be happy to help you find suitable accommodations. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Facility - We meet at 2209 Sunny Hill Road in Lawrenceville, GA. Our sanctuary seats approximately 200 people. We have a nursing mother's room where you can watch and listen to the worship service if privacy is needed. We also provide rocking chairs in the back of the sanctuary for mothers with small babies. Our fellowship hall is set up for corporate meals, and our children enjoy a playground and picnic area after the service.

People - Expect children...a lot of children. Also expect to see a great diversity in age between our members.

Attire - Church attire will never be an issue for worship. Although we would not be considered a "formal church," most still put on their "Sunday Best" for worship. The men in leadership wear coats and ties and the women dress modestly.

Sunday School - In our Sunday Scool we are currently studying through 'The One True God'. This study deals with the nature and attributes of God.

Worship Service - Begins at 11am. Expect an interactive call to worship with responsive reading. The music remains a fresh mix between modern and traditional church hymns from the Trinity Hymnal and the singing of Psalms from the Trinity Psalter. The sermon is preached in an expository fashion (listen to previous sermons) and the Lord's Supper is celebrated weekly. We preach and read from the ESV Bible and provide ESV pew Bibles for those who choose to use a different version, but wish to participate during our responsive reading.

Fellowship & Lunch - Every Lord's Day, we have a pot luck lunch after our morning worship service. Our families always bring plenty of food so there is always extra for visitors. Please plan to stay and fellowship with us around a meal.

Children's Catechism - Each of our families are working with their children at home in learning either the Children's Catechism or the Westminster Shorter Catechism. After lunch the elders acknowledge the progress of each of our children and encourage them for their hard work.

Prayer Service - After catechism awards, we take time to share prayer requests and pray together as a church.

Fellowship - Each Lord's Day most people stay around the church and fellowship after our services. Sometimes people meet with other families in their homes. Do not be surprised to be invited to a family's home for dinner or fellowship.
